"But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord" (1Cor. 15:57-58).

The victory is already ours because of the cross of Calvary. It is a complete and total victory over sin, satan, evil in all its forms, and death. Paul wrote, "Death is swallowed up in victory" (1Cor. 15:54).
We appropriate this supernatural victory through faith. The Bible says, "For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the son of God?" (1John 5:4-5).
On the cross Jesus cried, "It is finish!" and this secured an eternal victory for all of those who place their faith in Him. Through faith, self-discipline, and the power of the Holy Spirit we are enabled to tap into vast resources of moral and spiritual power which make us victors, not victims. Allelujah!
