HAVE A PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR

Thank You Lord

As I reflected on the passed year, I'm reminded of the things that could have had a disastrous end, but God was there for me. Then I began to think about the goodness of the Lord and found a song by Walter Hawkins "Thank You Lord for all you've done for me" that expressed just how I felt. I've always loved this song because it reminds me that no matter where I am in life I have so much to be grateful for!
Here are the Lyrics of the song:
Tragedies are Common Place. All kind of Diseases, People are Slipping Away, economies Down, People can't get Enough Pay, As for Me, All I can Say Is, "thank You, Lord for all You've done for Me."

Folks without Homes Living out in the Streets and the Drug Habit some say, they just can't Beat. Muggers and Robbers, No Place seems to be Safe, but You've been my Protection every Step of the Way, and I Want to say, "thank you, Lord for all You've Done for Me."

It could have been Me Outdoors - Thank You,
With no Food and no Clothes - Thank You,
Or left alone without a Friend - Thank You,
Or just another Number with a Tragic End - Thank You,
But You didn't see fit to let none of these Things Be - Thank You,
Because everyday by Your Power You keep on keeping Me
And I want to Say - Thank You Lord For All You've Done For Me.
I wanna to thank You for Your Love. Thank You for Your Power.
Thank You for Protection every Hour - Thank You.
Now if it had not been for the Lord who was on our side there is no way that we could have made it. For keeping my family and loved ones safe you know I'm grateful, thank You Jesus.

Having said that, let me quickly add that this song "Thank You Lord" by Fred Hammond holds a special place in my heart. I often listen to it over and over because its message is so strong that it ministers to me every-time.

Thank You, Lord for loving me. I am so grateful for what you have done, and is still doing in my life. So, I just want to say, "Thank You Lord for being there for me."

Unity Releases Life and Victory

I believe that the Lord is asking that we yield to His divine direction for the upcoming year and that we purpose to live in "concord" or unity with His Word. What does that actually mean? Well, if we observe what God says concerning unity, we realize that it brings life. Psalm 133 is a perfect example of how unity releases life to God's people.

If only we completely understood that when we come into full agreement with God's will and His Word, He actually breathes life into us, as well as our situations. But, there is so much more concerning agreeing with God. Matthew 18:18-19 explains the principle of the power of agreement for spiritual warfare:

Matthew 18:18-19 (ASV) Verily I say unto you, what things soever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and what things soever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven. Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of My Father who is in Heaven.

In this passage, Jesus was saying that we have the power to bind the enemy if we will come into agreement with Heaven. The word "agree" in this passage is the Hebrew word sumphoneo, which again implies being in unity or being harmonious.

However, it is connected to another word, phone, which is described as "noise, sound, (and) voice." So, we can say that Jesus was instructing us to come into unity with the sound of Heaven and the voice of Heaven, which is God's voice! Wow! Now this begins to make even more sense when we are binding the powers of darkness, doesn't it?

I want 2011 to be a breakthrough year. I believe it will be if we agree with God's voice. Whatever God is instructing and whatever His Word says, we must come into unity with it so that we can experience life and victory.

Jesus is the Answer to Cancer

The World Cancer Report said that cancer rates are likely to increase at an alarming rate globally by 50% to 15 Million new cases in the year 2020 (Geneva, April 3, 2003). But we can make a difference by taking action today, because we have an opportunity, to stem the increase by lifestyle changes.

Speaking in San Jose, California, Prophet Kim Clement is on record saying that, "the medical field and the pharmaceutical world are going to open up to you because there are discoveries that have been held captive for many, many, many decades."

"Cancer will be known as a sickness of the past. Diabetes will be known as a sickness of the past. When the time comes, remember the oak tree, remember the tree. Invest in it, for you will not make millions, you will make billions of dollars. Why? Because this shall be an upright thing that shall be discovered. It shall be from the earth and they shall say, We were walking on it, and the healing came from that simple thing.

"That discovery is about to be made. I give you a secret today: look to the tree. Look to the Oak tree. Look to it in your investments because when it does come forth," God said, "I will cause My people to prosper overnight for they shall bring cures to cancer, to diabetes, to neurological problems, to Alzheimer's," and God said, "they will be known as diseases of the past."

Cancer – Jesus is the answer to cancer. The earth is about to yield scientifically; it will be proven that it is done, it is finished, and it shall produce the cure for these diseases that I just mentioned. And it shall be one of those rapid things that just cleans it up immediately. That's all I can tell you.

Spread Peace This Christmas

"And suddenly there was with the Angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men." (Luke 2:13-14)

Christmas is a very important time of the year. It's a time when people are tenderhearted and kind. It is the perfect time to plant seeds of love in the lives of people we meet.

Sometimes those seeds may just take the form of a kind word in the middle of our busy schedule, or it might be a prayer for someone who is hurting.

It's amazing how many people are ready to hear what we have to say when we say it in love. Who knows how many of those small seeds may one day take root and bring one more precious soul into the glorious kingdom of our God?

At Jesus' birth the Angel announced "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth PEACE, good will toward men" (Luke 2:14). At His ascension Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you, my PEACE I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid"(John 14:27).

The gift of the Saviour is an expression of good-will or Love to people, and therefore God is to be praised. No words can express the greatness of His love towards us. (John 3:16) Today the world is in need of peace, but true and lasting peace can only be realized when we're in right relationship with God the giver of peace.

Let us celebrate Jesus, embrace and spread peace this Christmas because He is the reason for the season.

Agreeing with God for His Sovereign Power

It is easy to bless what we agree with and what we view as good, but to release a blessing upon someone who is doing wrong or leading a life that is full of things that we don't agree with can be very difficult. We often look at blessing as agreeing with the person that we are releasing it upon. But Jesus spoke of it as agreeing with God to have His way in their lives.
"But I say to you who are listening, love your enemies. Do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who are cruel to you. If anyone slaps you on one cheek, offer him the other cheek, too. If someone takes your coat, do not stop him from taking your shirt. Give to everyone who asks you, and when someone takes something that is yours, don't ask for it back. Do to others what you would want them to do for you.
If you love only the people who love you, what praise should you get? Even sinners do that! If you lend things to people, always hoping to get something back, what praise should you get? Even sinners lend to other sinners so that they can get back the same amount! But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without hoping to get anything back.
Then you will have a great reward, and you will be children of the Most High God, because He is kind even to people who are ungrateful and full of sin. Show mercy, just as your Father shows mercy."—Luke 6:27-36
Doesn't this truth make blessing your enemy far easier? You are agreeing with God for His sovereign power to begin to move in their lives! We spend so much time and energy trying to figure out our next move, thinking of strategies to see our enemies confounded or how to get the prodigal children to return home, when perhaps we just need to bless them! I think we spend a lot of time trying to give the Holy Spirit counsel on how He should move and what He should do.
Let's begin to bless our children who are astray, so that God's Name and Sovereignty would be made known to them. Let's bless our enemies, bless our governments, bless our leaders, bless those we don't agree with, even bless ourselves just in case we are the ones who are in need of His sovereign work in our lives. We do not have to agree with the actions and beliefs of an individual to bless them.
We need to begin to stand in a posture of blessing as we speak about our leaders and our government. Let us release God to be sovereign in our  Lives, Family, Government and in our nation.
