It is in...Good questions -thanks for sharing them.<br /><br />It is interesting to note that John Wesley came up with these quetions before he became a Christian and when he was trying to live like a Christian without having been born again (according to his journal).<br /><br />If we use these questions relying on God's grace to save and keep us, then they can be used for good. However, as with Wesley, there is a great danger in them - that we might trust our behavior and our works to justify us - as if keeping a list well (which Wesley did) means we are honoring God.<br /><br />May we only use such a list to make us aware of our sin - to turn us to Christ for His grace and cry out to the Holy Spirit for His enabling power to love Him and obey Him out of gratitude for what He has done to forgive all the sins this list brings up.<br /><br />Blessings to you my brother.mattnoreply@blogger.com
